Industrial Control

Industrial Control

Industrial control is a market segment that lags when it comes to implementing new technologies.  In this sector, power over ethernet is still cutting edge technology!  Much of the reason for the lack of adoption stems from two issues.  First, industrial environments are often very dirty and harsh.  Exposure to chemicals, elements, and impact are simply taken as normal. The renewable power sources that are currently available simply cannot operate in an environment like this, so they’re not an option.  Second, when a single industrial process has more than 200 control points, changing batteries every two weeks is cost prohibitive.

With this in mind, it is easy to understand why the field of industrial control has remained largely unchanged in the last 20 years.  However, our technology is a game changer.  This robust power source operates just as efficiently when it is dirty as when it is clean.  It can withstand repeat impacts from equipment and debris.  Not only that, but with a 25 year maintenance free service life, the chances are good that the worker who installs the power source will be retired when it has its first service.

From a dollars and cents standpoint, our generator finally allows wireless control of industrial processes.  This will yield better quality products at a lower cost as well as opening up new manufacturing techniques that previously were not possible.  The cost of the generator is less than the cost to have an electrician install the wiring to power the device.
